Cookie Notice
Effective 2026-10-18 · Version 3
This notice explains what neutralads.com and the portal, app.neutralads.com, store in your browser, and which third-party tools they use. It's part of the Privacy Policy. The responsible party is Moisés Chica Nieto, operating under the trade name "Neutral" (hello@neutralads.com).
The short version
- What the site, the form, and the portal need is always on.
- Meta's and Google's tools measure our ads and help show them to people like you.
- If you visit from Colombia, Meta's and Google's tools run only if you choose "Accept." You can change your choice at any time with the button on this page.
- From other countries, they run when the page opens. You can turn them off with the "Turn off ad measurement" button on this page.
1. What these are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. A pixel is code that tells a third party you visited a page. The site also uses your browser's session storage, which clears when you close the tab.
2. For the site, the form, and the portal (always on)
They keep the site, the form, and the portal working.
| Name | From | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
neutral_origen (session storage) | Neutral | Remembers the campaign, the ad, and the page you arrived on. Sent only with your application, under the form's consent | Until you close the tab |
neutral_lead (session storage) | Neutral | Keeps the same application from being counted twice | Until the next page, or until you close the tab |
neutral_cookies | Neutral | Remembers whether you turned ad measurement on or off. From Colombia, whether you chose "Accept" or "Reject" | 6 months |
| Turnstile | Cloudflare | Checks that the form isn't sent by a robot. May use technical browser storage | During the check |
neutral_cal (session storage) | Neutral | Carries your name and email from your application to the Cal.com calendar, so you don't type them again | Until the calendar loads |
Cal.com calendar (__cf_bm on cal.com) | Cal.com | Shows the calendar to book your call, inside the page you see if your application is a fit. The cookie comes from Cal.com's anti-bot service | 30 minutes |
Cloudflare security cookie (such as cf_clearance) | Cloudflare | Only if Cloudflare has to check that your browser isn't a bot. Normal visits don't get it | Set by Cloudflare |
neutral_portal | Neutral | Keeps you signed in to the portal | 30 days |
neutral_portal_correo | Neutral | Remembers which email we sent the portal sign-in code to | 10 minutes |
neutral_lang | Neutral | Remembers your language in the portal | 1 year |
3. Measurement and advertising (Meta and Google)
| Name | From | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta | Identifies your browser to measure which visits come from our ads and to show you ads | Set by Meta (currently about 90 days) |
_fbc | Meta | Stores the click ID if you came from a Meta ad | Set by Meta (currently about 90 days) |
lastExternalReferrer and lastExternalReferrerTime (local storage) | Meta | The pixel stores which site sent you here, and when | Until you clear your browser's site data |
Meta pixel (fbevents.js) | Meta | Tells Meta which pages you view and whether you sent an application that goes on to a call or to review. We keep off the feature that reads form fields (automatic Advanced Matching) and the one that records clicks on its own (automatic events) | Not a cookie: it runs on each page |
| Meta cookies on Meta's domains | Meta | If you're signed in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may read its own cookies when the pixel loads | Set by Meta |
_gcl_au | Only if we use the Google Ads tag. Measures which visits and applications come from our Google ads | 90 days | |
_gcl_aw | Only if we use the Google Ads tag. Stores the click ID if you came from a Google ad | 90 days | |
_ga and _ga_<ID> | Only if we use Google Analytics. Counts which pages you view and what you do on the site | 2 years | |
| Google cookies on Google's domains | If we use its tools and you're signed in to Google, Google may read its own cookies | Set by Google |
When you send an application that goes on to a call or to review, our server also tells Meta (Conversions API). It sends your email in hashed form, your IP address, browser details, and the cookies above. A hash isn't anonymous: Meta can tell who you are. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy has the details.
Meta combines this data with what it knows about you from its apps and from other websites that use its tools, over time. It uses it to measure and show ads, including for its own purposes: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
Google, if we use its tools, does the same: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If your application goes on to a call or to review, Google may also receive the click ID from its ad and your email in hashed form. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy has the details.
4. Your choices
- If you visit from Colombia: the notice at the bottom of the screen has "Accept" and "Reject," with the same weight. Until you choose, the notice stays and nothing in section 3 loads.
- From any country, on this site: use the "Turn off ad measurement" button on this page. Meta's and Google's tools stop loading in this browser, and we don't tell them about your application. From Colombia, the same button withdraws an "Accept." To turn measurement back on, use the button again. Delete any cookies you already have in your browser.
- From any country, at Meta and Google: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences and https://myadcenter.google.com. For Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- For many ad companies at once: https://optout.aboutads.info
- In your browser: use a tracker blocker, or block cookies and scripts from facebook.com, connect.facebook.net, googletagmanager.com, googleadservices.com, and google-analytics.com. To remove cookies you already have, delete neutralads.com's cookies. The site works the same, but the portal needs its session cookie.
- By email: write to hello@neutralads.com to withdraw your consent to measuring your application with Meta and Google.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, from any country, nothing in section 3 loads, the same as "Reject." The site doesn't respond to Do Not Track: use the options above.
5. Changes
If we add a new tool, we'll update this notice. If it's for measurement or advertising, from a company other than Meta and Google, and you visit from Colombia, we'll ask for your choice again.
Your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, so ad measurement is off in this browser.
